Experience

Where my work has made a difference

Every role has had the same core: get the records right, find the discrepancies, and give decision-makers numbers they can trust.
  1. Fragrance.com

    Buyer

    October 2026 – Present

    Deer Park, NY (Hybrid)

    The problem

Purchasing decisions depend on reading sales movement, inventory position and supplier pricing correctly — across many suppliers at once.

    My contribution

    • ▸Analyze sales trends, product movement, inventory levels and pricing data to support purchasing and replenishment decisions.
    • ▸Prepare purchase orders across multiple suppliers, weighing demand, availability and purchasing requirements.
    • ▸Compare supplier pricing, negotiate costs, and resolve discrepancies such as duplicate orders and competing product alternatives.

Value: Brings an analyst's discipline to commercial decisions: price comparison, demand signals and clean purchasing records.

  2. Kelm Media

    Data Analyst | Database Developer

    June 2024 – October 2025

    The problem

Roughly 400 applicant and student records lived on paper, making them slow to find, hard to trust and impossible to analyze.

    My contribution

    • ▸Independently built the company's first MySQL database, replacing the paper-based system while operations continued.
    • ▸Migrated and validated legacy records with SQL — resolving duplicates, missing information and formatting inconsistencies.
    • ▸Analyzed applicant demographics, education and geography to recommend which recruiting locations to visit next.

Value: Saved employees weeks of manual administrative work and turned recordkeeping into a source for recruiting decisions.

  3. U.S. Army

    Transportation Management Coordinator (88N)

    December 2013 – December 2022

    Deployments: Kuwait · Germany

    The problem

Moving thousands of pieces of equipment and personnel across multi-unit operations leaves no room for inaccurate cargo records.

    My contribution

    • ▸Reconciled port cargo records in Excel against physical shipment documentation, resolving SKU/TCN, dimension and status discrepancies.
    • ▸Tracked thousands of equipment and personnel movements, identifying delays and reporting timelines and readiness to command leadership.
    • ▸Translated transportation and readiness data into movement plans, briefings and recommendations for missions valued in the millions of dollars.

Value: Nine years of service improving record accuracy, reducing the risk of transportation delays and keeping leadership informed.
